Accidentally deleted my domain name

    So I had a domain name on my account, but I accidentally deleted it and I can’t get it back. One of the WordPress experts said that they passed it along to the staff, but I haven’t heard anything back. Is there anyone that can help me?

    Hello,

    The forum you posted is in reference to a custom domain that was paid for. In that users instance the domain was one purchased outside of WordPress. Is this the case for you? If so then then this will need to be tagged for staff assistance.

    How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question?

    Some issues require staff member help. If you see or add a thread that you know needs staff intervention, you can add the modlook tag to the tags area of the thread to make sure we see it.

    I can see you recently cancelled laxgear4u.com, is this the domain you are referring to? If so, I can restore it to your account. Do you want to continue using the domain here on WordPress.com or transfer it elsewhere?

    That is the correct domain. I’d like to transfer it to another hosting site, but isn’t there a 60 day waiting period?
    If you can’t let me transfer it elsewhere then restoring it would be the next best thing and then in 60 days I will transfer it

    The domain hadn’t been refunded yet so there are no additional costs to pay.

    I’d like to transfer it to another hosting site, but isn’t there a 60 day waiting period?

    There is, yes. Newly registered domains can only be transferred 60 days after the registration date — this should be around 24th September 2017. This 60 day lock is required by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and cannot be waived.

    In the meantime, the name servers can be pointed to your new site using these steps:
