accidentally deleted one site when trying to update display name

  Hi, I thought I was following online instruction to change my site name from gonehikingesch to billrobinhike. But then I learned that I actually deleted my site gonehikingesch which would be really bad. Is my old site gone forever? Are you able to help me change my site name but keep my old site? I basically have two sites, one was about a 2013 hiking trip and then I started a subsequent one later. Thank you.

  You can recover your site 30 days after deleting it, after that both the site’s address and all its contents are purged. You can read more here:
