Accidentally deleted site

I became an administrator for an old blog this morning. I received the Administrator invitation email for azlablog.wordpress.com and clicked the link, and I was under the impression that doing so had logged me in. Unfortunately I was still logged into my primary profile. I need to delete the old blog, but when I clicked delete and confirmed, it deleted my current blog: http://pinalbookclub.wordpress.com/
This is a very large problem, as this is the blog for an entire county library district. I very much need to do anything possible to reinstate that content. Thank you.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thank you timethief. I am not as concerned with the URL as I am the content. This is just a horrible accident and it really seems a shame that four or five years of content can be deleted in a 30 second mistake.

Deleting the URL means deleting the whole blog content and all. When we attempt to delete any blog we receive multple warnings that deletion is permanent and irreversible.

This thread is tagged for their attention so what’s required is your patience as Staff work through all forum threads tagged for their attention and through all email support tickets in chronological order based on datestamps and timestamps – first posted first served, as would be expected.
How long it takes to clear the threads and support tickets depends on how many Happiness Engineers are working on them at any given point in time. It also depends on how complex the issues in each thread and ticket are are.
Please don’t bump your thread here by posting into it again because it’s not in your best interest to post to it after it has been tagged for Staff help. Doing that moves the timestamps forward and it takes longer to get a response.
