accidentally deleted site by changing domain name
-
Hi, is it possible to reverse site deletion (go back to my original domain name)? I didn’t realize that it would essentially delete the site and zap all previous links.
WP.com: Yes
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What site are you talking about as https://moonzxmchild.wordpress.com/ is up and running?

sorry, i should have been more specific: is it possible to undo a domain name change. i want my domain name to go back to ‘moonchildkhz’. (moonchildkhz.wordpress.com is gone)

Once you change a wordpress.com domain, there is no way back. This was very clearly stated when you changed the domain, you even had to confirm it.

Hi there,
Unfortunately, site addresses (URLs) that have previously been used cannot be recycled.
Please take a look at the guide here which will provide some more information on changing a site address:
https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/
If you would still like to change the site address, an option would be to change the name to something similar to “moonchildkhz.wordpress.com” by following the steps listed in the guide above.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!

i know that there is a way manually change the site url using wp-config.php but i don’t want to mess anything up. for curiosity purposes, would i be able to recycle a site address that way? either way, thank you

There is no wp-config.php file on the wordpress.com platform as it is a shared platform.
