accidentally deleted the about that span into 2 sidebars

  How can I make another “about” that span with the 2 sidebars?

  I have the same issue – I have somehow managed to change the front page of Andreas 04. The ‘About’ section was visible on my front page, along with all the posts. Now it is a category in the sidebar. Can someone tell me how I can get this page up on the front of my blog again?

  My blog is http://purecommunicationspr.com. The page is called Purecommunications in Brief.

  Help!!!

  The about display in the sidebar is part of the default “sample” widget display. Once you start adding widgets to the sidebar (design > widgets) all of the default sample set disappears. There is no “about” widget.

  What you would have to do once you put widgets into the sidebar is create an about widget using a text widget. It will however not span both sidebars, just one.

  What I did was to edit the permalink in the “Write Page section”. Like in your case just edit the said page and replace it with http://purecommunications.com/about/. You will see that the said page will appear infront and spanning the 2 sidebars.
