Accidentally deleted website

  Hi,

  I have made a complete mess of my website. After accessing theme editor (but not making any changes as I didn’t want to break my website), the website came up with a box ‘there has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

  I therefore followed the instructions on this website https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-critical-error-in-wordpress/#fix-critical-error-without-email
  under the heading ‘Fixing Critical Error in WordPress Manually’. I went on my file manager app and renamed ‘plugins’ to ‘plugins.deactivate’. On trying to do the next step, I realised the manager app had been uninstalled and the website then showed a completely blank screen. I tried connecting to FTP to change this but am not in contact with the site admin so cannot connect this.

  I am now stuck with no website and no way to re-activate plugins. Can anyone help?
