Accidentally deleting category from Blog page – need to get back

  Hi there, my query is in relation to categories in WordPress. I have stupidly deleted categories from my blog accidentally. I would love the categories option to show on my blog page but have no idea on how to re-create it. Its showing on the dashboard in the menu as an option but not on the actual blog page its self. If the only way to do this is to restart the blog page again – let me know those instructions as there isn’t a great deal of content on the blog as yet so I can do this. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much.
