Accidentally disconnect wordpress app in security tab

  Hi,

  I need help. In the security tab of my account, I accidentally disconnect wordpress app. Now I only have gravatar app connected. How do I reconnect wordpress app to my wordpress account again? Please help.

  Hi, it simply said WordPress. Previously, the wordpress app was listed under gravatar (link to screenshot). I accidentally clicked disconnect when i wanted to click the button beside it and unable to undo the mistake

  Hi there,

  Disconnecting WordPress.com there doesn’t actually do anything in terms of how your site or account works, so you don’t need to worry about this.

  How do I reconnect wordpress app to my wordpress account again?

  You should be able to reauthorize it in the app.

  That WordPress.com “app” is your account’s connection to our API. It cannot actually be disconnected, so there is nothing to reconnect. That option is not related to the WordPress mobile or desktop apps.

  Oh, i only use browser to access wordpress, not mobile or desktop apps. Thanks, now i can rest assured that the security of my account isn’t compromised because of my mistake

  Removing apps there can’t compromise security in any way – that’s why that screen exists: to check for connections that shouldn’t be there and to remove them to improve your account security. So you don’t need to worry about that at all :)
