Accidentally overwrote post by updating a template

    I created a template to use on my blog posts because I thought it would allow me to drop in a framework and then customize the content for each of my blog posts. I didn’t realize that creating a template actually means you’re copying word for word the exact content and if you change it one place it changes everywhere.

    So I created a template from blog post A. I made blog post B with this template and changed all the content to fit the subject for post B…..

    When I hit save I didn’t realize that it was overwriting post A with the new content from B!!!!

    So now when I went back to edit post A to try and go back in history to the older version…. there’s nothing there! It only shows me the post template that I’m using that got updated.

    Ugh… is there anyway to recover or go back???
