Accidentally permanently disabled URL

  Changed my .wordpress.com blog address because I wasn’t using it anymore and someone requested it. However, when I clicked “disable address” it said that I won’t be able to recover the name again (which I don’t want to – I want someone else to have it). Of course, I was stupid, and now that person who wants the URL can no longer have it. Anyway to reactivate that URL?

  Deleting a blog is forever, the URL cannot be recycled and reused. That’s why 3 warnings are given and why a vertification link in an email that must be clicked is sent in order to accomplish deletion.

  I didn’t delete the blog. I changed the blog address!
