Accidentally published draft

  I accidentally published a draft post that isn’t ready for prime time. I deleted it, so it’s now in the trash. I want to return it to draft status but I can’t figure out how. “Restore” just republishes it. If I could open the post, I could copy the content and create a new draft, but again I can’t figure out how to open the post without republishing it. Can it be done?

  I figured this out with the help of two Facebook friends. After a post is published, it can be recalled by selecting “Draft” in the Status drop-down on the right. Another suggestion was to copy the text of the published post, delete the post, then paste the text into a new draft.
