Accidentally went from administrator to author–can I reverse?

  Same thing happened for me for my blog (goodsamaritansfund.wordpress.com)
  I would be very grateful if my adminstrator privilege is restored back.
  My friend whom I gave admin access to the blog, tried to give me back the admin privilege but he got ‘Can’t edit this user’ error.

  Please help.

  I was earlier admin. I gave admin rights to other friends.
  After that I became the author. Now my friends are also not able to give me admin rights.

  Kindly help
