Accidentaly made Visual Editor's font size big, but can't undo

    I accidentally rested my fingers on my keypad and the Visual Editors font size became big. It would be suitable for someone with poor eyesight but I just want to get it back to how it was. I can’t find any controls for changing the font size. I have randomly tapped keys to find the majic key combination. I have searched for a solution online, but they all mention an add-in which I have not added in, or changing a css file, but my website is the free type. Can anyone help? The large font is annoying.

    Hello counteringislamism,

    I had a look at your website and the font looks fine to me so far. Is it possible that you accidentally pressed some buttons on your keyboard and have zoomed in the characters on the page? That would explain why you can see a big font on the editor but the rendering on the website is just fine.

    Can you please let me know if that might be a possibility? Thanks!

    Hi Stefaniamattana,

    My website is not affected.

    Actually, it is not only the Visual Editor which I create and edit pages on that is the problem, all the pages on my WordPress website, including the “My Profile” “Account Settings” and “Security” pages, are all zoomed in.

    It has happened before, and eventually I have resized them back to the good size when again I accidentally brushed my fingers over the keyboard, but there must be some key combinations that will do this properly without the serendipity.

    Also, I should have mentioned that while my WordPress website is “zoomed in” all the other websites that I view in my browser are at the correct size.

    Hi Stefaniamattana,

    I thought about it logically and have found the solution. The key combinations are:

    To make larger: Control and +

    To make smaller: Control and –

    Simples.
