Accidently deleted an article from the app and it doesn't appear in my trash

  Dear all,
  I accidently deleted an article called “update” from the iphone app i sometimes use to directly post articles to my blog. The thing is, after some time, some articles are shown as “local” on my app, and for no reason. And when you open it it appears as a draft. But I know for certain all the articles had already been published. I though it was maybe a bug, a redundant article that somehow got copied locally to my phone. So i deleted the draft thinking it was redundant. But it turned out to be the real article I had just deleted. what the…? How can I get it back? I don’t see it as a trashed article on my web admin posts page. Can wordpress restore it for me? Why do my article keep appearing as “local”?

  OK so the article just popped back up on its own – although ihad searched for it previously and nothing – and I managed to republish it. But the questions still remain. Now that i know they are drafts I will just republish them but, are my readers notified a second time to my article? Why do my article keep appearing as “local”? And if I ever do delete one by accident and it doesn’t pop back up can wordpress restore it for me?
