Accidently deleted my blog

  Hi,

  My user-name is piyushgaryali and one of my blogs *was* http://piyushgaryali.wordpress.com. I accidentally deleted this blog and now wordpress does not let me recreate the blog saying the name piyushgaryali.wordpress.com is already taken. How can I resolve this issue? :(

  You accidentally both deleted this blog and confirmed it via email? Then it is gone for good. That’s why you’re asked to confirm the deletion.

  Pick a new URL; they are not recycled.

  At settings > delete blog, the first line says this:

  If you do not want to use your WordPress.com blog any more, you can delete it. This CAN NOT be undone. It is permanent.

  The last two sentences are the important part.

  I’m wondering the same as raincoaster, how you can even do that.

  After you press the delete button, there’s another warning if you want to finalize it. and even that, you have to comfirm it via email.

  I’d like to suggest that you could solve your problem by simply getting another blog and naming it http://piyushgaryaliblog.wordpress.com
