  today I received two emails from wordpress to moderate comments posted to my wordpress blog, which I haven’t posted to in a few years. But when trying to approve one of the two comments, I have been unable to access the account. When I try to reset the password wordpress says my email address does not belong to a user, which makes no sense since the notification I received about the two comments to approve or delete came to the address very same wordpress says does not belong to a user. Finally, when it appeared I was able to reset my password what actually just happened is a new account (which I do not want) was created. I just want to access my old blog, and who knows maybe even upgrade it. Please advise. Thank you!
