Account Activation Help Please!

I’m trying to activate my account and I’m clicking ‘Re-send your activation email’ but I’m not receiving any email from word press (although I get all other notifications through). I’ve checked my junk, its not there either and I can’t change the email address on the account.
When I do click ‘Re-send your activation email’ I get a confirmation message saying ‘We sent another confirmation email to {{email /}}
Help please! I can’t post anything!

According to staff, it’s possible a bug is preventing the email being sent to you because your account was created several months ago, but not yet activated. If you recall, please indicate how you signed up (mobile app, Gravatar.com, or WordPress.com) and whether you recall getting an activation email when you first created your account. That will help with troubleshooting.
I’ve tagged this thread to let WordPress.com staff know that you need assistance with this issue.

Hi thanks for getting back to me! I signed up via wordpress.com several months ago but did not activate my account – I still have the activate email but its no longer an active link.
