Account amsterdamming hacked and blog deleted

  Hello, my account amsterdamming was hacked and the person has deleted my blog. This happened at around 22:00 CET. I have subsequently reset the passwords for my wordpress account and also the associated email address. Can you please help me recover the deleted blog? I’m hoping you have a backup or a cached copy as this only happened an hour ago.

  There is no recycling of deleted blog URLS here at wordpress.com.

  You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or you can purchase a domain name via a domain mapping upgrade as in that case it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.

  You can recover your indexed blog content from Google’s cache. http://tinyurl.com/89fmuxa It’s a copy and paste job.

  Damn that’s a shame.

  Could you please tell me what is the easiest way to copy and paste from the google cache?

  I’ve tried a quick copy and paste into a newly created blog newamsterdamming.wordpress.com. What I can see is the urls for the photos are still from the amsterdamming.files.wordrpress.com. So does this mean that this is still linking to the original files?

  I was able to recover the http://amsterdamming.wordpress.com/ blog itself, but the posts may not be so lucky.

  I’m going to see if they are recoverable, since it has been less than a day.

  You can also check out search engines, particularly Yahoo, for cached versions. You then copy/paste them in.
