Account being empty

  I have had my account upgraded and a full portfolio on it for several years now, but haven’t been actively monitoring it for about a year. I came to log in to it and my account says I have no pages, no plug-ins, no domain, no content, and that I have a basic account. Which isn’t true. I can visit my actual website domain now and see the site is still active, but I have no way to edit it since it seems that my account has nothing there. I want to restore my account so I can edit things or figure out if for some reason the account that the domain is under is a different account.

  Hi there,

  The chrisleatham13 account you’re using to post here owns one site on WordPress.com, on our free plan: https://chrisleatham.wordpress.com/

  There hasn’t been any changes to that site since you created it in 2017.

  On 15 May 2017 you bought a Personal Plan and the domain, chrisleatham.com, for that site, but you cancelled those upgrades for a full refund the next day, and you haven’t logged into this account since then. You can see the upgrade and refund receipts in the billing history for this account at https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing

  If you have a site containing a portfolio, you either created it in a different WordPress.com account, or as you mention having plugins, more likely you were using the open source WordPress software at a completely different hosting provider.
