Just had my domain mapping auto renew – the first notice I received was the email telling me that the money was taken from my credit card.
I did not receive a single notice that the domain mapping was expiring, I have ask the staff and the answers are a bit vague and all along the lines of “we don’t really care enough about auto renew accounts to send more than one notice” – I have also been assured by the staff that 12 notices a minute are going out – well for the second year in a row you have screwed up and not sent me the proper notice
when will this be fixed?
I have another account that has manual renew – it is at about the two week point and I have yet to receive a notice of the domain mapping needing to be renewed – jerrymyduval (sorry about the spelling) is “looking into this & will get back to you” well been about a week on the “get back” part and still nothing
And since you do not allow domain mapping to be renew for more than a single year I don’t even have the option of renewing things defensively by renewing out into the future like I have done with my domain names
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I think some wires must have gotten crossed somewhere. As far as I know, we send auto renewal notifications at least 14, 7, & 2 days before renewal.
You’ve got upgrades with two accounts it seems, while it’s probably too obvious to be the answer, are you sure you were looking for the upgrade notifications in the right email account? Along those lines, have you changed your email address recently (or even not so recently) for any reason?
I’m also going to drop you an email to the address associated with your Auxclass WordPress.com account.

Sorry no notice at all – I did get the “you just spent this money” email – so something is very crossed up – if my memory is correct both accounts have had notice problems that I have brought up in the forum, and there is a problem somewhere –
email & spam filter – the last time I changed an email address was well before I moved to WordPress.COM – I have never changed an email address here that I can remember – all the email comes down to my PC – there is no server level filtering and I do scan down the spam stuff as a quick check just in case.
Yes I was looking in the correct email accounts for the notices, also all my email (other than my cell phone & only one person has that address) comes into the same email program on my PC so no server account that I forgot to check, all the accounts get checked at the same time. So I am real sure that nothing got lost.
I would like to see the renewal notices sent out the same for auto-renew as for manual renew (rumor has it at 90 days) (note my other account with the manual renew has yet to receive a notice for the domain mapping and it expires in 15 days)
I would like to see the ability to renew a second year from the dashboard for domain registration & domain mapping, since if they go away the site crashes. More than one year was possible from the dashboard when I first moved here (I paid for two years I think) – I personally don’t care if the other upgrades have a second year option, if I forget the No Ads Upgrade, my site will still keep running just fine, I suspect the CSS folks have a different position.
Yes I got the email – I will dig the info out from my files and get back to you – thanks much
And yes it is OK to ask the real obvious questions, I help people that have a blog under a second account they forgot they used to buy an upgrade.

Okay. I’m going to dig into this with some folks and see what I can find.
