Account compromised? Got a 'confirm your subscription' email out of nowhere

    I just got a message asking me to confirm my subscription to a blog. The email appears to be legitimate, but I didn’t do it. My account has a strong password. How can I find out what happened?

    someone probably made a spelling mistake with the email address – all subscriptions are opt-in here – so an email is generated to make sure it was you subscribing and not someone signing you up for a blog you don’t want

    pay no attention to it – they did not get into your account
