  Hi,

  I spoke to someone earlier because all I wanted to do was have my wordpress site show up at my own domain, but I had transferred hosting to wordpress too.

  They said I could cancel my plan and launch a wordpress website via godaddy, for which I wouldn’t have to pay anything. Now I’ve done that, WordPress is trying to charge me £85, which is more than I paid for my own domain AND hosting!!

  I must be doing something wrong?

  Your question is not totally clear, just to clarify further, do you want your site sunfishltd.wordpress.com with a Custom Domain?
  But I don’t see User produced content here.
  Please provide the Link of the site you are trying to get assistance with? And as you mention you want to launch WordPress through Godaddy? Then it is a WordPress ORG site.
  Or you would like to have WordPress.com site?
