Account created using my email address
-
Hi there,
I’ve just received a flurry of emails saying I’ve set up a new account/ site. I was actually asleep, so know this was definitely not me.
The address is: aronu1jlw4d527cz.wordpress.com
I haven’t tried to access the account in case it’s a scam.
I did have an account many years ago, but have completely forgotten about it. I logged back into that one and changed the password to be safe.
Is someone able to help me delete the fake account/ site?
Thank you
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Bearcavenros is not the account I need help with, not sure why that’s there. It’s the account mentioned in the main text.

I’ve had the same problem. A manager of here, wordpress, said they are currently investigating this problem well that’s all. I suggest you’d better delete your unwanted site first of all. You can delete that with this tutorial

Hi @neilsmaller
Our team is investigating a recent uptick in reports like this. In the meantime I am glad to hear that you have changed the password on your WordPress.com account to a strong and unique one. In addition we recommend that you change your email account password as soon as possible.
To add another layer of security to your account, you may also want to enable Two Step Authentication — a second step to the log-in process that no one but you can access — using your cell phone for authentication. Learn more about enabling two step authentication:

I do not see a site at that address, so it appears our spam team may have already removed it. If you happen to notice any strange behaviour or new sites you don’t recognize, please let us know!
