  I need to set up a WP account to register with WooCommerce. I already have a WP account but deleted it in an attempt to fix an email issue. This new account is asking me to register my domain with WP for a fee. I haven’t been required to do that in the past since my domain is managed by a third party. What do I need to do if anything? Thank you. Stephen

  Hi Stephen,

  I’m not sure I understand what you’re referring to. Where exactly are you seeing this? The account you’re using to post here doesn’t even own any sites with us, so you shouldn’t be seeing a prompt to upgrade anywhere.

  There is no need to register a domain, nor even to create a site, in order to have a WordPress.com username account, and a username account is all you need to create a WooCommerce.com profile. You already have such a username account, the areyouasavvybidder account you’re using to post here, so you should be able to just go to WooCommerce.com and log in now.
