Account Deactivation
-
I’m trying to deactivate an old account. I was previously talking with chrisrudzki, but it seems the forum I was on has been closed. This issue has not been resolved and I didn’t get an email from anyone that I could reply to. I just got the notification email for the forum responses.
Here’s the link to the previous conversation:

I’ve tripple checked my email. Nothing. I’m getting the emails for the posting notifications, so wordpress has my correct email. I’d rather not put my email in here.

Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account. You can create one gravatar for every username account that applies to all blogs registered under the same username account and email address.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/There is a single email address that can be used on only one wordpress.COM username account and not on any others, regardless of how many blogs are registered under that username account.
The wordpress.COM blog’s owner can change the relevant email address on their accounts page at https://wordpress.com/me/account at any time.

I can’t speak English…Either we settle this in a peaceful and reasonable, and profile data and page will be deleted without around eggs! Or I write on the page, parr really great Nazi slogans and to show you…. Then the page is gone and there is still Trouble…

Thank you for taking the time, but I don’t think you understand my issue. I had setup the wordpress blog I linked to with an email address that has now been deactivated due to me not being a student of that university anymore. I don’t have access to that email anymore. Therefore, I am unable to receive confirmation emails, change my email settings, or do anything associated with that email.
rslagle1 is the username of that wordpress blog. (email visible only to moderators and staff) was the email that that wordpress points to. Again, I cannot access this email address as it’s been closed.
I can’t change my email settings, because I can’t access that email. I don’t want to change the email settings for my current account on ‘shlegelheimer.’ I want to deactivate the account under the username of ‘rslagle1.’
Thank you

I understand the issue. You need to contact account recovery staff as support staff cannot help you. You must complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff, and provide proof ownership, so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums, which are available to everyone with internet access.
Support Staff cannot breach the privacy policy and provide the log-in information. You have to provide proof ownership to Account Recovery Staff to gain access https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
If you cannot provide proof ownership to Account Recovery Staff, so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums, which are available to everyone with internet access, then you have reached a dead end.

That’s what I was wondering. It seems I’m dead in the water, then. As I cannot access that email account, there’s no way for me to provide any of the proof’s of ownership required. I was hoping that I might have gotten to talk to somebody that could ask me some other identification questions or something to verify that’s my account, but it looks like that blog with my name on it, full of outdated information is just going to sit there, collecting internet dust, forever.
Thanks anyway for your help.

HeyHEY!!
Just tried some other password just for kicks and guess what? Bingo! I gained access!
Thanks again for all your help!
