Account Deactivation
-
Hello,
Was hoping to ask this in a private setting, but here goes. My spouse has a website through WordPress. She unexpectedly passed away and now I need to take down the site as she has items for sale listed on her site. I do not have any of her login credentials to do so. Can anyone assist?I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

Hello, my name is David. My website and domain were deactivated, and I received not reason. Can you tell me how to contact the support because, after paying a Premium plan for a month, just to check if it was or not what I was looking for, as company, it does not allow me to send them directly an email. Thanks on advance!

Hi @kevinm7717, what’s the address of the site you’re referring to so I can have a look and point you in the right direction of getting support?

Hello,
I’m afraid that site is not hosted here with us at WordPress.com. Based on the WHOIS info, it appears to be hosted with name.com. I would encourage you to contact their support team.

WordPress.com (the webhost) and WordPress (the open-source software from WordPress.org) are related, but separate entities:
…and this can cause some confusion.
