Account deleted by mistake.

    Hello,

    I delete by mistake my (other) account and both domain associated with it.

    I open this other (paid) account to email support to recover my previous account and the domains.

    The email support is extremely slow without any solution after 2 days and the weekend looming.

    Can community support speed up my email case to reactive my other account and domains (as indicated in the email case)?

    Account and WordPress.com websites can only be recovered within 30 days of deletion. After that the information is purged and cannot be recovered or recreated.

    While I’ve flagged your thread for Staff attention, please let us know the account username you want to recover.

    Well, email support has not been helpful. They only sent me instruction to recover my password as they misunderstood my request about my lost account and both domains. Then, nothing for the last 4 days.

    Could you help me to recover the domains (de)associated with my lost account? That’s what I really need. (I could tell you the domains, and you could email a code to these domain admin, which I’ll be able to tell you to verify my ownership. Would that work?)

    We are still not able to assist with account recovery over the forums. For domain recovery, we can open an ownership dispute to potentially transfer ownership of the domains. However, I recommend recovering the account in order to regain access to the domains.

    I was able to find your ticket and send it to the account recovery team so they can assist you directly. Please note that emails are answered in the order they were received, so if you follow up on an existing ticket, it will move your inquiry to the back of the line.

    The account recovery team will follow up with you as soon as they are able.

    Actually, I just replied to the email confirming the deletion of the account. I asked to reverse the deletion. It is another email than the helpdesk. It was all fixed within 24h.
