  I wish to delete this account, how do it cancel it please?

  Hi,
  We can’t delete the account for you. You have to act on it yourself.
  I must tell you that WordPress.COM accounts are not deleted completely. Still if you wish to leave then follow these instructions to delete your account.

  First Empty and Delete Your Site.

  And then follow these steps:
  STEP 1: Remove Data
  Go to My Account > Edit Profile at https://wordpress.com/me/account and remove all the data except the username and email address. Now replace only the email address with a throwaway email address. Do not change the username, this will keep the username from being re-used.

  STEP 2: Change Account Password
  Now change your account password to a strong one. You can use this simple password generator tool by LastPass: https://lastpass.com/generatepassword.php
  This is done to ensure that your account is locked up tightly.

  STEP 3: Hide Gravatar Profile
  When you login to Gravatar, you will find a hide button on the bottom right corner of your Gravatar Profile page. Click that.

  STEP 4: Unsubscribe from WordPress Email’s
  To stop receiving emails from WordPress, go here: https://wordpress.com/settings/notifications/ and click on “Block all subscription emails from WordPress.com”.

  IMPORTANT NOTE:
  Even if you delete/deactivate your account your username is not removed from the database, so that it’s not available to any other users when they are registering for a new account. This is done to keep you from being impersonated by anyone else.
