A blog on another account I had appears to have been completely deleted… When I try to log in it says that my email address was never registered. Is there any way for me to retrieve the account or have I lost it forever?

    Any help is appreciated!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The email address we register a username under is our unique identifier. WordPress.com does not delete blogs unless they are in contravention of the ToS but bloggers can delete their own blogs at any time. Are you sure that the URL you are using is correct? There could be one small spelling error. Another thing you could do is try any other email addresses you use and see it you can log in using them If you are not successful then all I can point you to is this entry > http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/

I forgot to include this sentence above. Username accounts are never deleted at WordPress.com. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

I had just recently updated it earlier today and it was working fine. Now, whenever I try to visit the page http://www.xantheharman.com it gives me an error message, and won’t let me log into wordpress. I think it is likely that the account was hacked and deleted, as I certainly didn’t delete it, but I just want to know if it’s possible to get it back?

If it can’t be deleted I don’t understand why it’s saying my email address isn’t registered with them? It was working absolutely fine three hours ago…

Is it possible that you are not referring not to a free blog being free hosted by WordPress.com but to a self hosted WordPress.org install? See here please for the differences > WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org: The Differences > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

it is a self hosted install yes… does that mean there is no way of somehow getting it back? is my account gone for good?

We cannot help you here with your WordPress.ORG install. As this is a self hosted WordPress>ORG install you must log-in using your WordPress.ORG username and password. All support for WordPress.ORG installs is provided at http://wordpress.ORG/support/
