Account Email address no longer active

  I had an MLBlog quite a while ago, sometime in 2008-2010. I have since lost the password, and the email account to which the “reset password” link is sent no longer exists because it was deleted for inactivity. How can I go about getting the log in info changed?

  If you cannot remember the login information for a WordPress.com account, your best bet is to try the account recovery process here:

  I have submitted a request through the link you provided, but I supplied the wrong email. Should I resubmit with the correct email? Also, do you know about how long until I should expect a reply?

  If your current email address is incorrect, you should resubmit. If it was the old one, someone will probably contact you with a “Can’t find any user with that email” message.

  As for response time, it all depends on how backed up the account recovery line is. We do our best to get to them ASAP though.
