Account error refund for student

    I have a student in my UMaine class who got a WordPress.com site last semester by accident. They paid for a whole year, and so now their funds (which are needed for other wordpress class projects) are tied up. They have passed the usual refund period, but need funds to continue their work.

    Is there a way they can get a pro-rated refund on their hosting? (they would of course pay for any free domain name if they got one)?

    I teach a WordPress class and use the software for all my teaching (instead of Blackboard & Brightspace), and so introduce students to all the cool thangs they can do with WordPress. I’d like them all to have a good impression.

    Please let me know if you can help get my student a refund.
