  Hey there, can you help us recover our account with this wordpress website login?

  We tried resetting by lost password link with the recognized wp email login, but we are not receiving any lost password mail even if we look at spam

  We are in desperate need of help to recover this account, please help us, thank you.

  Hi there:

  Just to clarify things, there are three different versions of “WordPress” that you should be aware of:

  1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
  2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
  3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.

  Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. Additionally, since WordPress.com is not your hosting provider, any attempts to reset your password here would have zero effect on your website. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.

  I recommend reaching out to your host for help with this issue. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the best ones to help you find and fix this problem.
