Account hack

    I no longer use my wordpress account, but recently logged on to find that it is being used by a scam website that has hacked my account. For some (presumably related) reason, I am unable to delete the site or even deactivate my whole account. I would like to solve this problem by completely deleting my account, as I no longer have any use for it anyway, but need advice on how to do this when the normal method of deleting it (in settings) does not work. Thank you.
