Account Hack – Cannot Access Original WordPress Dashboard
-
Hi there,
I just tried to view my website, austinhenson.com, and see that it’s been hacked. There are multiple ads in Russian on the site featuring content that isn’t mine.
I tried to log in to the WordPress account associated with the website and am completely locked out. My email wasn’t even recognized so I created a completely new account. I’m not entirely sure how to prove ownership in this situation, and am hoping you can help me out.
I can provide documentation that I own the domain and am paying for it, and am in contact with my hosting company as well. I’m really hoping to get this resolved soon, as this is a site I use for professional purposes.
Thank you, and please let me know where to go from here!

Your site looks fine to me; I don’t see Russian ads or whatever. We can’t help much more as your site is in now ay connected to the wordpress.com platform – https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/http://austinhenson.com
For further help you must head over to wordpress.org. Also check your computer and browser for malware.
