account hacked, can't retrieve my confirmation email from wp to reset the pw

  I can’t login to wordpress using my regular name and password. I tried to reset the password, sending a message to xxxx, only to find it’s been hacked!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The help I need is more complicated. I won’t be able to post the details on a public forum. Do you not have a better way?

  avaliente is blocked from wp.

  Both of us have lost access to our Live mail accounts. You can’t contact either of us through that route.

  Blogs don’t get hacked when security protocols are followed. http://en.support.wordpress.com/security/

  If anyone is changing anything on your blog then you have provided them with the ability to do so either deliberately, or by allowing them access to your login information accidentally, or by posting content that makes it easy for them to guess what your log-in information is.

  Did you follow the recommendation to have only one Admin per blog?

  Who, aside from you, has access to your login information?

  Go to your email program immediately and change the password to a very difficult one because that’s how many hackers gain access to blogs.

  Just to be sure you are clear on this. You cannot access a blog is your are not logged in under the exact same username account that registered the blog. If you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
  If required click the “Need More Help” link and complete the form for account recovery.

  Oh dear … I’m sorry I posted above before reading carefully what you typed. I think I get what happened now. It sounds like your email accounts were hacked. Please subscribe to this thread so you are notified when Staff respond and please be patient while waiting.

  It was resolved tonight. I have my email account back and changed the passwords. Thanks. I really appreciate the help.
