Hi, all! I have a student who tried to create a username so he could contribute to our class blog. He started to fill out the form but tried to cancel once he realized he was creating a blog rather than just a username. Now he can’t log in AND he can’t sign up again with the same username and email because WP seems to realize he exists but won’t acknowledge him!

What can he do? Does he have to just create a new username altogether, or will the uncompleted/unused account just self-destruct if it’s inactive for a few days? (He’d prefer to keep his username if he can, since it’s the same one he uses for all his school accounts.)
    Thanks for any help!
    cheers,
    Lizzie

    Hey Lizzie,

You should suggest that your student try the Forgot Password feature to gain access to his account. Otherwise, he may find it easier to simply create a new account.

Please let me know if I can be of any further help.

    Best,
    P.
