i’m trying to update my website and i’m getting the error that the account is blocked as part of a security precaution. I am unable to log in or recover my account as i do not have the original purchase receipt. However I do still have the yearly payments showing up.

I am unable to log into my own account due to the error message ‘Your account has been blocked as a security precaution…’ the password recover does not send an email to my email account or any i have access to.
Account recovery does not work but I do have a yearly subscription being payed to wordpress.com for the site. -
Password reset and login via email links do not arrive at my email account associated with the account i’m trying to log into.

My Bank statements only go back to Jan 2020. I purchased the domain in 2019. Is there any other way or can we use the statements from the yearly subscription?

Typically subscriptions like a domain renew on a yearly basis – if you have any WordPress.com payments on your bank statement from 2022 or 2023 so far, that would also be fine!

I have submitted a account recovery request using my bank payment information about 1 month ago and still have not been contacted about it at my requested email in any way. Is there a way to speed up the process of recovery?
