  Hi – the owner of the account for our publication is no longer around. The website is still posted but we can’t access through WordPress. The account credentials we have no longer work. Is there any way to get access?

  Can you tell us the URL of the site in question?

  If the site is hosted with us on WordPress.com, the only way we can give anyone access to it is if you’re able to verify ownership of a user account on the site as explained here:
