  hello there, been awhile since I opened my account.
  so today when I open it, i used the google link directly rather than the username.
  I ended up creating a new account and I cannot access my original account.
  can you help me please. thank you.

  Hi there,

  What is the username of the account you’re trying to access?

  If using the Google login link created a new account, that can only mean your old account is not associated with your Gmail address, but was created using a different email.

  Log out of this new account, and log back in using your username instead. If you don’t remember the password, entering your username on the lost password form at https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword will cause the password reset link to be sent to the correct email address for that account.
