  Is there a way to actually speak with someone at WordPress?

  I think there’s some confusion here. There’s three different “WordPress” at play here:

  1. The free, open-source WordPress software which you can install and use at any hosting provider.
  2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
  3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and where you’re asking for help now in the free support forums.

  Since WordPress is an open-source project, there’s no “WordPress” organization that would provide support.

  Can you let us know what the URL is of the site and what problem you need help with? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise and point you in the right direction to get help.
