  Guten Tag.
  Ich habe mich bei wordpress.com registriert und habe meine Domain aleksanderbach.com mit WordPress verbunden. Diesen Schritt möchte ich nun rückgängig machen und Werders.com nicht mehr nutzen. Meine DNS Einstellungen haben ich bereits zurückgesetzt auf die 1&1 Standardsettings. Dennoch öffnet sich beim Aufruf meiner domain: aleksanderbach.com immer noch die wordpress.com Site. Wie kann ich das entfernen?

  Good day.
  I registered at wordpress.com and have my domain aleksanderbach.com connected to WordPress. This step I would like to be undone and no longer use Werders.com. My DNS settings I have already returned to the 1 & 1 Standard Settings. Nevertheless opens domain when you call my: aleksanderbach.com still wordpress.com site. How can I remove it?

  From what I see on whois, the nameservers are pointed back to 1&1. I visited the site and it is not pointed to your WordPress site anymore.

  Are you able to see your self-hosted site on your end? Let me know, thanks!

  It’s true but it’s still doesn’t let me relink, still opening this: https://en.wordpress.com/typo/?subdomain=aleksanderbach all the time. Even when I empty my browser cache…

  Are you referring to aleksanderbachdotcom.wordpress.com? That site has been deleted.

  So, when you type in aleksanderbach.com, it leads you to https://en.wordpress.com/typo/?subdomain=aleksanderbach? I am able to get to your site without issue. Also, I checked your account and it is not connected to the domain any longer.

  Exactly!!! That’s the problem. Could it be that it takes longer that DNS settings are changed?

  It is possible that the domain has propagated from where I am but not where you are. It usually takes 72 hours for propagation to fully happen. However, checking here, the DNS has propagated fully to your self-hosted site. Have you tried a different browser or computer? It appears the issue may be isolated to the browser that you are using.
