    Do you need to unsubscribe from emails you’re receiving, or do you want to remove your account?

    You can block all WordPress.com email by checking the box next to “Block Emails” in your email delivery settings. There’s a link at the bottom of each subscription email, or you can log in and update your settings here:
    http://wordpress.com/#!/read/subsettings/

    If you wanted to get rid of the account, please understand that your username can’t be deleted. But we can remove the email address for you and change the password (essentially locking you out). You could also change it to a throwaway address on your own. Or, you can simply leave the account inactive until you’d like to use it again for any of our services.
