Account management

How do you manage four accounts, four blogs and four gravatars? I set up four accounts for the purpose of establishing four unique identities.
Having four blogs under one account did not work. For example, if I wanted to comment as one blog author, the gravatar for the primary author would appear. I fixed that by setting up each blog in a different account.
So far … so good.
But the issues have multiplied four times. The gravatar image from one account shows up in the comment of another account. The profile name is correct, but the image is wrong.
Also, when I try to post a comment, I’m instructed to login to my account, but I’m already logged in on the same browser. The other accounts are logged off.
I have noticed, however, that my gravatar account for another blog may be open in the same browser. This could be the source of my issues. If the gravatar account is open my comments want to post under that account even though I’m technically logged in to another blog.
Is Gravatar the problem, or is something else causing the issues?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The problem is caching and cookies.
If you log out of one account and log into another, a cookie for the first account might still be active in your browser, meaning we can’t accurately detect what account you’re signed in as.
The only ways around this is to completely clear your browser cache and cookies each time you switch accounts, or to use something like the new Containers feature in Firefox to essentially run four completely separate browser sessions at once, logging into each account in its own session.

Thanks! I’ll try Firefox. Before I let you go, is there any way to manage the blogs under one account while maintaining their unique identities? So, for example, when I comment as one of the other blogs it doesn’t display the Gravatar of the primary blog? That’s the reason I set up four accounts which only created this other issue with the cache and cookies.

I’m afraid not. You can add one account as Admin on all the sites. Then you can use that one account to create posts and pages on all the sites, and you’d be able to set any other account on a particular site as the author when you do that.
But comment replies will always be from the account you’re currently logged in as in the particular browser session, regardless of the site.
