Account no longer attached to WordPress site?
-
I set up a WordPress.com site about two years ago. I no longer see it attached to any of my WordPress accounts. The site now contains outdated and incorrect information and I need to either change it or take it down. I have no idea how this happened, and I’ve been unable to reach anyone via the “ask a question” service, and the questions I’ve asked just disappear.

There is a reasonable possibility that TransverseIC.wordpress.com is owned by a different account. I’ve tagged staff to confirm if this is the case. :)

I feel like there’s a possibility I made an account for the purposes of setting it up, but I’ve tried login in with everything I can think of. If it is possible, could an admin email the account attached to it?

Once you’ve regained access to the site, which will likely be easier when staff confirm who owns it, you can transfer it to your main WordPress.com account. :)

Is this what you are referring to?

Hi glibresult,
transverseIc.wordpress.com is owned by burlslegit. Please login out of glibresult and log back in with the username burlslegit — are you able to see the site in that account? If you have forgotten the password for that account, it can be reset from the Lost Password form.

One of our Happiness Engineers replied to your email on Tuesday but if you didn’t receive their reply, please check your spam folder in case it went there.
Come back to me if you have any trouble.
