Account not attached to my website

    I purchased a domain through Bluehost and would go through bluehost to wordpress to work on my blog. But every time I log into wordpress it pulls up a different website than the one I have, which doesn’t make any sense to me since I only have 1 domain. I would like to connect my accounts so I can log into my wordpress and work on my website without having to go through buehost to do that.

    Is there a way to merge accounts/domains?

    Hi there,

    To clarify, we are not the only providers of WordPress sites, and Bluehost also happens to offer WordPress sites, but they use a different version of the platform than what we use here. Because of this our two services are not connected.

    If you wish to host your site with Bluehost you do not need an account with us at WordPress.com, but can contact them directly for help in setting up WordPress hosting there.

    However, if instead you wish to use your Bluehost domain with an account set up here on WordPress.com, this is possible! To do that you can upgrade to any of our plans listed here. They include domain mapping, which will allow you to use your Bluehost domain as the address of your WordPress.com site.
