Account Problems

    Hi There,
    A ex employee has been receiving emails from WordPress saying that our company card details are no longer working and we need to update. I have gone into our WordPress site and can see my own email is the contact so I don’t know why she would be receiving my correspondence. I’ve also updated the card details to new ones and again she received another email stating that our renewal can not be processed due to the card. (the same email that came through before.) Can someone please help in rectifying these issues as our site can not go down.

    The ex employee is receiving the email because although they aren’t the owner of the site, they’re the owner of the upgrade. They will need to transfer the domain mapping subscription over to you if you are now responsible for managing the renewal. Or, I can easily do it for you – all I need is the ex employee to post in this thread verifying that it is okay for me to do so.

    Hi there! I’m the former employee and am posting in this thread to confirm it’s ok for Laura to manage the renewal as it is for her business and website. Thank you for making the necessary updates needed.

    I contacted WordPress about why you keep receiving emails about the site when I had updated the contact details & card details to myself.

    They’ve responded below and would like you to post in this thread to say it’s ok for me to manage the renewal.
