Account recovery
-
Hi
I don’t remember the email address I used for my account with username samueldebruyn. I’d like to regain access to my account, but I don’t receive any password reset mails. -
Hi there!
If you’re not receiving the password reset email then that is not the email address associated to your WordPress.com account with username samueldebruyn. Have you tried entering all the email addresses in this form that you know might be associated to that account?
Please also try the Account Recovery Form.

Hi
I tried every email address I know, but as I have catch-all on my domain, it really could be anything…
The account recovery form always tells me that samueldebruyn.wordpress.com is not a valid WordPress blog. However, it does say it is already registered. -
https://samueldebruyn.wordpress.com doesn’t exist
That URL is reserved for registration only by the person with the matching username account. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/samueldebruyn
When we register a username account the matching blog is reserved for our future use. It cannot be obtained by anyone other than the person who has registered the matching username account.
If and only if you have the matching username account then the blog is reserved for you and you will be able to log in appropriately and register it after logging in under the correct username account.
https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/?user=1However, if you changed your username then the blog URL will not be available for use under the new username account.
