Account Recovery
-
We have a WordPress account that has been hosted for over a year now. However we do not know the login or password and no longer have the Transaction ID, activation URL/key, or two-factory authentication in order to fill out an account recovery form.
We have proof of the site being ours since we are hosting it and have the contact of the company who built our website and you can speak to his head.
If someone can please assist us on the recovery process for this and urgently get back to us.
Additionally, are there any other means of directly contacting someone at WordPress in order to help us with our other account which we cannot access.
Thanks!

Hi there,
Your site is not hosted by us (WordPress.com). It is using the open-source WordPress software and it is hosted by Gandi.net. Therefore, you need to contact them regarding your login issue.
You can also try resetting the password by following these instructions:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
We’re only able to provide support for WordPress websites that are hosted by us. For help with your site you can also ask over at the WordPress.org forums:

If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and the open-source WordPress software you can read this article:
