  Hi, I’m the owner of a site made with wordpress. The freelancer who worked on my site is no longer with me, and has the login, etc. Can the password, etc. be reset without my former freelancer’s logins? Thanks

  What is the URL of the site in question?

  Note that this forum is for the hosting provider, WordPress.com. We can only help you if the site was created on our servers.

  If your site was made using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider, which it sounds like it might be the case here, then we cannot help, as we have no control over or access to such sites. In that case you’ll need to contact the hosting provider where the site was created for you directly for help.

  Hi, thanks for your reply and sorry about delayed response. Long story short, I figured it out and got to my hosting company; we found the old password and changed it and everything is just fine. But again, thank you for your quick response, and I appreciate your honesty. Thanks again & take care.
