Account recovery?
-
Dear reader,
In 2012 I made a blog http://www.ancientcosmicjourney.wordpress.com . I don’t remember my login anymore, neither the username nor the orginal e-mailadress with which I registered the blog. I have a guess on the username but am not sure. In order to try to get access I just posted a comment to test and yes, I got an e-mail on one of my e-mailaccounts. It was from WordPress that asked me to approve the comment. So I logged in with this e-mailadres but in the dashboard it says I don’t have any sites. And it says I don’t have access to the blog. Concerning the account recovery form, I don’t have any of the identifications (not the activation URL because I don’t know the original e-mailadress, not a transaction code because of the same reason and I never bought anything, and not the two step verification because I never enabled that option). Can your help me regain acces to this account? Thanks in advance for your efforts!

So to clarify: I registered with an e-mailadress I don’t remember. But I must have changed the contact information to another e-mailadress because the approval for the comment I received in the secundary e-mail inbox.

Hi there,
If you don’t have the login details for the correct account, please follow our account recovery process at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/ so we can help you regain access.
If you’re not able to provide any of the verification info that form requires, we won’t be able to give you access to the site.

Hello,
Thank you for your reponse. One last question: if you were to post a comment on that blog, and I can forward you the e-mail which asks me to approve of the comment, would that be a way to for you to give me acces to the site?

No, but you can email our Account Recovery team from that address directly. Their email is
